Description
Second Lieutenant (Retired) Demetrius "Dee" McNeil was a dynamic youth track and cross country coach who passed away December 22, 2018 after nearly a 5 year battle with colon cancer. Dee's Dreams 0213 Foundation was founded with the intent to provide scholarships to underserved youth athletes who may not have the funds to otherwise participate. Coach Dee loved working with athletes wherever he found himself as an Army-retired military spouse. He embodied the principles of hard work and his motto, "No Free Chicken" was personified in everything he did in life. Please join us for our inaugural race - a virtual 19.83k walk/run, beginning February 1, 2021 and ending on his birthday, February 13, 2021. Children, 10 and under, run/walk for free.
