About MAF

MAF, founded by Myra John in 2017, provides support and comfort to children in crisis by ensuring they have access to basic but essential personal care items such as toiletries, PJs, blankets, clothing, comfort items, and much more. When a child becomes homeless or transitions to foster care, it is often a rough process. It is common for them to have just the clothes on their backs and maybe just a few personal items to take. Most of the time, these items end up in just a trash bag.

 

MAF Angel Care Bags

MAF provides Angel Care Bags to children experiencing homelessness and transitioning to foster care. These bags are filled with items that help children feel safe, secure, and valued, and they give them something to call their own. MAF’s motto is “One Bag Full of Love Creates a Child Full of Hope'' and it's our hope that this small action makes each child’s transition a little bit less scary and stressful. One Angel Care Bag can make an incredible difference in the life of a child in crisis.
