If you did not wear a timing chip on your shoe the day of the event , you will not have an official time.

The mission of our Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.

What is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk?
The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. It honors all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and supports our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

For more information on the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation please visit www.tunnel2towers.org

I would like to donate goods or services to this event. How do I do that?
You can contact us at Triangle@tunnel2towers.org. We make every effort to keep costs down to allow us to give the most to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Stephen Siller's name. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.

As a participant, can I fundraise/encourage others to donate?
Yes! Once you are registered, you will be given directions to start your own fundraising page and you will be able to accept donations online. Do you want to donate cash/money? We can help you with that. Contact us at Triangle@tunnel2towers.org and we can walk you through the process or you can send donations directly to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306 (Attn: LIZ CURTIS) - please be sure to identify it as going towards the Triangle NC event and give us your team/participant information so we can add it to your fundraising page. It's easy!

Can I transfer my registration to another participant?
Yes, but this must be done in advance. Please contact us at Triangle@tunnel2towers.org and we will manually change it in our system. If you are looking to transfer your bib the morning of the race, please speak with a member of the Stephen’s Squad organizing team so that your information can be entered correctly into the timing company’s system. Running with someone else’s bib without notifying the timing company is a safety issue. Should something happen to you out on the race course, we need to ensure you receive the appropriate care and the appropriate emergency contact is reached.

How can I volunteer?
It's simple! Click on the volunteer option above and enter your information to sign up. Thank you!

Do registrants get receipts?
When you register online you should automatically receive a receipt by email. If paying by credit card or check, that is your receipt.

Is there a medical staff available on-site?
EMS will be available through 911. Police will be along the course with radio communications.
