Hope for Horses invites you to support “Trot for Horses 5K Run/Walk” to be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
A virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, your sidewalk, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track – but please, be safe and practice social distancing! You get to particiapte in your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself!
This fundraiser is to support Hope for Horses. Hope for Horses is a 501(c)(3) rescue founded in 1999. Our primary goal is to find quality homes for many unwanted, neglected, and abused horses. We also provide sanctuary for equines that cannot be adopted due to health, behavioral, or other reasons. Additionally, we are committed to helping responsible horse owners keep and care for their horses. Hope for Horses has successfully helped hundereds of horses throughout Western North Carolina. Our mission is to improve quality of life and end suffering for at risk horses in WNC and our vision is for all horses to live out their lives with dignity in safe and enriching homes.
Proceeds from this event will support our mission and programs. More than a fundraiser, this is an opportunity to join together, although virtually, in support of Hope for Horses.
