THE RACE


 
She ROCKS Run is the vision of a Wilmington teen, Emma Brown, to honor her mother, Tracy Brown, who died of ovarian cancer, and all those brave patients fighting ovarian cancer. 
Come participate in the 5K or 1.5 Mile at Long Leaf Park to show your support and help spread the word about Ovarian Cancer Awareness, and to also raise money for Ovarian Cancer research.

Register by October 1st, 2024, for a She ROCKS Run shirt. Those who register after Octover 1st can choose from remaining shirt sizes while supplies last.

 

THE COURSE

Long Leaf Park - Shelter #6

Wilmington, NC 28409

She ROCKS 5K takes place entirely inside Long Leaf Park.  This course will be marked, open, and mostly flat, with volunteer crossing guards placed at select intersections. The course follows the walking path through the park, giving participants beautiful views of ponds, trees, and flowers.

This race course is also stroller friendly!

HOW YOUR REGISTRATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE
She Rocks Inc. was formed in May 2014 with the intention to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Research and to provide knowledge and local support to those affected by cancer. The mission of She ROCKS is to bring awareness and attention to ovarian cancer through funding ground-breaking research, including finding a means of early detection, more effective treatments and ultimately a cure.
