Kick off your Thanksgiving with a morning of fun while helping Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity Build a Home! 

Join the festivities at the 20th Anniversary Cape Fear Habitat Turkey Trot! Come dressed in your finest Turkey costume (for you and your pets) supporting a great cause while running or walking 1 Mile or 5K through a beautiful beach town. 

All proceeds help build Homes, Communities and Hope through Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity.

RACE SWAG

RACE SHIRT
Register by October 28, 2024, and attend packet pickup and/or the event, and you will receive a race shirt in the size selected at registration. Register after October 28th and choose from remaining sizes until shirts are gone.

LONG SLEEVE SHIRT
Long sleeve Turkey Trot shirts are available for pre-purchase during online registration until October 28th.

The course is flat and perfect for families and runners looking for a personal best. It is also stroller friendly.

However, dogs are not allowed on this course so please leave them at home or with a non-running spectator.

THE CAUSE

How Your Registration Makes a Difference

The Cape Fear Habitat Turkey Trot at Wrightsville Beach is an annual fundraiser for Cape Fear Habitat to build homes, communities, and hope in New Hanover, Pender, and Duplin Counties.

Last year, runners raised enough money to build a home for a neighbor in our community. Through an affordable mortgage, families can build strength, stability, and self-reliance.
