White River 5K Run/Walk

The White River 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held on July 4 in Crawford, NE.  This year due to unforeseen circumstances the event will be held as a virtual event. A virtual race can be run (or walked) from any location you choose.  You can run, jog, or walk on a trail, treadmill, at the gym or on the track.  You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time yourself.

The cost is $25.00 which includes your t-shirt, medal if you are a winner, and shipping.  T-shirts and all prizes will be mailed or delivered to each paid participant. All proceeds and donations go to the Mr. Fireworks Fund which enables Crawford to have one of the best firework displays in the area on the 4th of July.  We have some great sponsors for the 4th of July Firework Display.  However, we hope to be able to cushion the fund to insure in less fortunate years we will still be able to have a firework event. 

We will be have some special prizes in addition to the typical winners.  Champion prizes will be awarded for the Most Patriotic Running Outfit, the Fastest Time on the Traditional Route, the Oldest Runner, the Youngest Runner, and the Runner from the Farthest Distance from Crawford, NE.
