Week 1: September 25th - Running form and Intervals to improve efficiency and speed (Exeter High School Track)
Week 2: October 2nd - Hills: Using the climb and descent to improve strength, form & speed (Stratham Hill Park)
Week 3: October 16th - Plyometrics high intensity running drills: Improve efficiency, control and power (Stratham Hill Park)

Description
Do you want more speed, efficiency and power in your run game? In this series, we will explore the key elements to becoming a stronger, faster, more injury resilient runner. Join for 1, 2 or all 3 of the sessions. You'll learn what to do to improve your run game, and how to safely and strategically incorporate these high intensity training methods into your routine.
Runners and multisport athletes of all paces and experience levels are welcome. Options will be given based on the distance you are training for. Please come dressed in your running gear and shoes, bring hydration and be prepared for a good workout!
*All weeks will meet on Sundays from 9-10:30 am
*Please note no clinic on Sunday, October 9th
*Week 1 is appropriate for injured athletes and modifications will be given. Weeks 2 and 3 are not recommended for currently injured athletes.
Week 1: September 25th - Running form and Interval Training
Exeter High School Track
What are the key elements of proper running form?
What form improvements do I need to make and HOW to make them?
How do I use interval training to improve my performance for X distance/race?
How often? How hard? How long? How long should recoveries be?
Week 2: October 2nd - Hills
Stratham Hill Park
When should I incorporate hills into my training?
How much should I run hills?
Proper form/technique for climbing and descending
What elevation/grade/duration should the hills be?
And of course, then we'll run the hills!
Week 3: October 16th - Plyometrics & high intensity running drills

How to improve efficiency, form and power with plyo and drills
How often/how much to incorporate into training
How to mitigate risk factors with high intensity/high impact training

*Inclement weather date: Sunday, October 23rd. Clinics will happen in the rain, but if we are experiencing dangerous weather (severe t-storms, hail, etc), we will cancel that week and reschedule on this date.
Communication:
Information will be send out at least a week prior to each session. Participants are asked to check their emails the week before the clinic, as well as the day before, for any scheduling or weather changes, or other important updates. If weather is unsafe, we will make the call by 5 pm on Saturday to postpone. Please check weather and plan to dress accordingly. If weather is cold or rainy, but conditions are safe, we will meet!
Weather/Cancellation Policy:
No refunds can be given if you are unable to attend a week that you have signed up for or if the clinic needs to be rescheduled due to weather. However, if there are weeks remaining, you can choose to attend another week instead.
Minimum 5 participants for each week to run the clinic. If canceled due to low numbers, registered participants will be fully refunded.
