7th Annual One More Tri; A Triathlon to Benefit Special Olympics NJ

We are happy to announce that Edison Energy will be hosting the 7th Annual One More  Tri,  a  Triathlon  to  benefit  Special  Olympics  New  Jersey  (SONJ)  on  September 16, 2018. Through gracious efforts of employees, friends, family, racers, and local businesses, our previous triathlons have raised over $300,000 to benefit the inspiring athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey!

The Edison Energy team – alongside our friends at SONJ – have created an unforgettable and profound experience for all involved. The One More Tri is more than a race – it’s a Unified Triathlon Experience where triathletes of all skill levels compete side-by-side with Special Olympics athletes. This race is inspired by a simple principle: the act of competing together ensures a quick path to understanding, acceptance and friendship. One More Tri features Sprint Triathlon, Short Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquavelo, and Relay event options, and a food tent stocked with specialties from Asbury Park’s best restaurants.

Special Olympics New Jersey provides year round sports training in 24 sports and over 260 athletic competitions to more than 25,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities – all free of charge. Therefore, community and corporate support is so important to ensure the continued growth and success of the program across the state.
