Description
The Central Regional Education Association is proud to announce our latest fundraising effort to benefit our great students with the first annual Strides for Scholarships 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk. The event will begin in Veterans Park in Bayville on a course which has been professionally certified by USA Track & Field for standards of competition and safety. We welcome runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Children and families are also encouraged to attend and enjoy the events we have planned.
All proceeds of this event will be used to fund scholarships for students in the Central Regional School District.
A brief awards ceremony will be held after the races. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in many age categories.
