The Bonita Stanton, M.D., Memorial 5K is a fully inclusive event for everyone - all ages and all abilities are encouraged to participate!
The proceeds of this year's event will benefit the Bonita F. Stanton, M.D., Scholarship Endowment Fund, which will provide vital scholarships to the talented future physicians accepted into the highly sought after Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
A beloved colleague, physician, mentor and educator, Bonita F. Stanton, M.D., was the founding dean of Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and a true inspiration to all who knew her. She was a prolific researcher, author and educator. It is impossible to overstate her role in bettering and saving untold lives over the course of her career as a pediatrician and medical education visionary. A true leader of positive change, Dean Stanton envisioned a world in which every person - in her own words - could have “access to excellent health outcomes and well-being" in the State of New Jersey and beyond.
USATF Certified & Sanctioned 5K Race
Pre-Registration: $30 This registration type is for runners who would like to compete in the USATF certified and timed 5K. Includes official runner bib, t-shirt and refreshments.
**Registration after Sunday, September 28: $35
You can also register in person on race day from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Timed race begins at 9:00 a.m. sharp - Rain or shine!

We encourage participants to create a fundraising page after registering. Click 'BECOME A FUNDRAISER' at the top of this page to get started. Fundraising pages will stay open leading up to the race, closing on October 5. Fundraising participants are eligible to receive incentives, which will be mailed out after the race to the address you provided in your registration.

Volunteers
Volunteers are needed! Please click on the volunteer tab from the menu to register to be a volunteer. Volunteers will receive a letter of verification for service hours upon request. Hours are 7:30am-11:30am.
Race Packet Pick Up
Race packets will be available to be picked up the morning of the race. Be sure to arrive early to pick up your race bib and t-shirt.

Post race celebration includes awards ceremony, refreshments and music.
