Event Update For 2024
The Cape May Beach Patrol Lifeguard Association is excited to bring back the fastest 2.4 mile open water race out there. We are looking forward to a great race with fast and, most importantly, safe swims. We loved getting feed back and are looking forward to some improvements in the race this year. Watch out for announcements through email and on our Facebook page to stay up to speed including giveaways, a store to buy some unique swag and photos from last years race!

Poverty To Cove 2.4 Mile Swim
The fastest point-to-point 2.4 mile swim on the east coast. This has always been a 'rite of passage' for local swimmers "in the know," and now we've made it official!
Swimmers will swim around the southernmost point of New Jersey WITH THE CURRENT!
Join us in Victorian Cape May for an instant classic!
What can swimmers expect at this event?
