5th Annual 5K for Pizza
Description
Join us for the 5th Annual 5K for Pizza on Saturday, September 21, 2024!
Open to all levels of runners and walkers, the flat and fast course will take you along the picturesque Hoboken waterfront and conclude at our finish line festival where all participants get to enjoy some epic (and free) local slices. Registrants will receive a maximum of 3 full-size slices. Gluten free options will be available. Check back here as we add which pizzerias will be participating at this years race!
Additional race details:
🍕The event will be USA Track & Field sanctioned & professionally chip timed.
🍕Professional photography will be on staff to capture the day's events, whose images we'll make available as free downloads soon after the event.
🍕Race themed t-shirts will be available as a registration add on at an additional cost.

On Saturday, September 21st, the 5K race will start at 10:00 AM.
Packet Pickup
Pre-Race Packet pickup will be held on Friday, September 20th, 2024. Location to be announce.
Race same-day packet pickup will begin at 9:00 AM at the race check-in area (the north-east corner of Pier A Park), and will promptly close @ 9:45am.
Your "packet" will include your race bib, safety pins, and, if additionally ordered at check out, your 5k for Pizza race t-shirt.
*To limit our impact on the environment, Packet Pickup will be bagless.*
Directions & Parking
The 5K events will start and finish at "Pier A Park" in Hoboken NJ. The check-in and festival area (i.e., packet pickup, pizza) will be on the north-east corner of the Pier.
🍕For drop off (Uber, Lyft, etc), you should utilize "100 Sinatra Dr, Hoboken, NJ 07030" as your GPS address. Though, be mindful that course roads will be closing around 9:00AM so it may be best to be dropped off a block or so away from the venue.
🍕For those taking public transit (e.g., Path, Lightrail, etc), Pier A Park is a 1 or 2 minute walk north of the Hoboken Terminal.
🍕For those driving themselves or otherwise in need of parking for their driver / friends / family:
- Metered street parking is available on first come first serve basis.
- Hoboken Municipal Garage B is the closest garage to the venue, and likely the most convenient parking solution; the address for this parking facility is 28 2nd street, Hoboken, NJ, 07030.
Bag Check
You are strongly encouraged not to bring bags to the race, but we will offer a bag check for $10 via exact cash or Venmo. Card readers will not be on site.
*5k for Pizza staff & volunteers are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bags or items from bags checked at 5k for Pizza bag check.*
