Donut Trail Behind 5K
Due to COVID, we will prepackaging all bibs and shirts. . Your bib will be placed in a plastic bag on the pick up table at the park. see our email for your bib number
During Pick up: Wear a mask and be socially distant. Air hugs to our staff! We will be so excited to see you!
There will be limited volunteers on course. Please follow the pink route arrow markings (same ones we have used in previous years). There will be ATVS and staff on the course.
Donuts will be packaged and ready for runners upon finishing the race. Medals will be handed out at the finish line.
Additional COVID-19 Guidelines:
Guests, Friends and Spectators - The governor has limited outdoor gatherings. This means, in our Donut area @ the basketball courts only runners will be permitted.
If you are not feeling well, stay home.
Please keep social distancing and wear mask/face covering

Welcome to the first ever "Donut Trail Behind". Our first IN PERSON race of 2020. Chip timed, donut, neck gaiter, medal and shirt included with registration
Trail Shoes Encouraged, but not required. No strollers and keep the pets home.
Donut Trail Behind 5K will bring you to the beauty of the trails. Wide, blazed trails will challenge you! Part of the Jefferson Township trail system, our race will bring you to Historic Liffy Island. As you pass the wooden bridge and visit the former Boy Scout campground, you will enjoy the fall weather with picturesque views of Lake Hopatcong.
The course is a beautiful scenic trail located in Lake Hopatcong. A recent project by the Town of Jefferson and the LH Foundation, the trail has been blazed to offer wide space for frolicking through the . Your first mile will bring you on challenging rollers, but don't worry, the lake and a bridge will meet you as you go to the island which features some more soft, dirt, single track. You will exit the island heading to the woods before returning back to the main trail.
Registration includes: Medal, T-shirt, face gaiter, and a Donut.

Limited day of pick up from 8:30-9:15

Start Time: 9:30- Waves of Runners in groups of 20 set 6 feet apart.
Parking is limited on location. Carpooling is strongly encouraged. Please do not park in front of people's homes or block driveways. Park @ Little Nikkis, on N Beach Street (Next to Bridge Marina)
Covid Guidlines:
Please practice social distancing,
Use hand sanitizer that will be made readily available
Wear a mask when social distancing isn't achievable.
This race is BYO-W. Please bring your own water on the course if you need it.

Charity Beneficiary
$5 from each entry is donated to the Jefferson Diversity Committee to help them with their mission of preparing teachers and students to combat bullying in the Jefferson School systems.
