Description
Okay People! It’s time to sign up for our fifth annual Hoofin' It For SPUR 1M, 5K & 10K Virtual Race. Participate in our race and help us raise funds to support Special People United To Ride, Inc.
You choose the distance you want to complete: 5K, 10K, 13.1 miles (half marathon) or 26.2 miles(full marathon). By the way, we are donating 10% of each and every race registration for Virtual World Racers to Pencils of Promise, an incredible organization! They build schools to ensure that their students have access to a quality learning environment. So far they’ve been able to build 363 schools since 2009. Our goal is to donate $35,000 which is the amount it takes to build one school. So let’s race around the world and build schools along the way! This year we invite you to complete 1 mike, 5k or 10k and you can complete your race anytime in February, from anywhere!
You choose the time, the course, and the pace to complete your virtual race
Can be completed any time in February 2020.
The majority of proceeds from this run will benefit the Deputy Saul Gallegos Memorial Trust. This trust was established to set aside funds for future educational needs of Maria and Saul’s four sons.
