YMCA Camp Ockanickon 8th Annual gobbler 5K Race and Family Fun Walk

Camp Ockanickon will host its 8th Annual Gobbler Run  a nd Family Run Walk on Saturday, November 29 at the Rohrer Center.  Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the race and walk starting at 9:15.  the event will be held rain or shine. Proceeds from the event will benefit the 2014 annual campaign.  The course will take the funners and walkers through the trails around the lakes of Camp Ockanickon.  Whether you are an Olympic runner or just want to take the family for a walk, join inthe fun and excitment.  One of the highlights of the Gobbler Run will be the Mighty Pilgrim of the Pines Team Challenge.  We are challenging all local groups, businesses and orgnaizations to participate by entering a four person team.  Enter as many temas as you wish,  In addition to helping our community's kids, the winning team will receive the coveted Mighty pilgrim of the Pines challenge trophy.   The course is both dirt and single track.  There will be awards for the top three places in each category and free refreshments for all participants.  Please register online at www.ycamp.org or call Darleen Blesi at 609-654-8225 or email at Darleen@ycamp.org
