Race Location
Yes, this race is being held in the small village of Monduli, Tanzania. While we welcome everyone from across the world, we know that most of you will have a hard time getting here. So our race is free if you can make it!
We started a Running Club after school in January. 37 of us ran the 5K or Half Marathon at the Kilimanjaro Race in February. We liked it so much we decided to hold our own race!
If you can't make it, we hope you will consider a donation to help our school.
Internation Education Fund of Tanzania
IEFT operates Orkeeswa Secondary School, located in the predominantly Maasai area of northern Tanzania known as the Monduli hills. Through the development of Orkeeswa School, IEFT provides secondary education to children from rural villages of the region. For our students, Orkeeswa Secondary School offers the only community-based option for continuing their studies beyond the primary level.
