Virtua Fights Hunger 5k

Gather your friends, family, coworkers and neighbors for the Virtua Fights Hunger 5k and 1 Mile Walk!  This inaugural event aims to help feed our neighbors in need.  Together, we will be fighting hunger one step at a time!  The course will wind through the streets of historic Mount Holly.  T-shirts guaranteed to all who are registered by September 27th.  Awards in each age category along with top Virtua employees and a special award for the team with the MOST participants! 

Proceeds from the Virtua Fights Hunger 5K will support the Virtua Mobile Farmer's Market: a 23-foot bus brimming with fresh fruits and vegetables sold at significantly reduced prices in communities throughout Burlington and Camden counties.   

Virtua Mobile Farmer's Market 2018 Impact:

• 60,000+ Pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables distributed
• 11,500 Lives served
• 800 Hours of nutrition education at the market-side led by our Registered Dietitian

With the goal of improving health and ensuring good nutrition in under-served areas identified as food deserts, Virtua's Mobile Farmer’s Market provides access to fresh fruits and vegetables year round. Food deserts are those areas defined as lacking in reliable access to sufficient, affordable, nutritious food.
