6th Annual Kate's Place 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk

The 6th Annual Kate's Place 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will be held Sept. 13th at Laurel Acres Park. 8:30am rain or shine. Registration begins at 7:30am.

Kate's Place, Inc. is a licensed non-profit organization whose sole mission is to preserve and improve our social programs for developmentally delayed teens and young adults that live within our local communities. These overlooked citizens have no place to socialize, associate or interact in a safe, supportive friendly environment. While most teens and young adults are able to participate in many social activities, "Kate's Kids" are left to their own resources, of which, until recently, there were none! That's why in October 2007, Kate's Place was created. In just 7+ years, Kate's Place has grown into an incredibly beneficial and popular program. All proceeds benefit this non-profit, social day program for developmentally delayed teens and young adults.

Race Details

The race itself is self contained in Laurel Acres Park on Church Rd. in Mount Laurel, NJ. The course is 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) long. A one mile walking course is included.

* T Shirts for pre-registrants by Sept.1 , after Sept 1st while supplies last

* Trophies for overall male and female winners

* Post race refreshments including bagels, fruit and more

* Awardsto top finishers in following age categories: 13 and under, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 and over, Masters

Entry fee is $15 by Sept. 1st includes T-shirt, $20 after Sept. 1st
