Summer Solstice Race

Take advantage of the longest days of the year with Friend's 2 Friends' annual Summer Solstice Race!  Two chip-timed races to choose from: 5 Mile Trail Run or 5K on multi-use path.   

Races benefit the Sussex County Women’s Forum (SCWF), a 501C (3) non-profit organization.  100% of entrance fees goes directly to providing Free Mammograms.

Saturday June 22nd, 2019

Check-in: 8:30am

Start Time: 5 Mile Trail Run starts 10:00 am, 5K starts at 10:10 am

Registration: (please register in advance if at all possible)

Advance Online Registration: $25 (online registration closes morning of race),  Kids 14 & under just $10 (5K only, discount will be applied automatically)

Day of race: $35

EVENT DETAILS:
5 Mile (Age minimum of 15 for Trail Race):

• Trophies to top 3 M/F, Medals to top 3 M/F in 5 yr. age groups
• 5 Mile is part of the Cricket Wireless Spring & Summer Points Series presented by SpectaSport
• Traditional course run in the reverse direction in 2019
• All finishers will be timed, but must finish 5-Mile course within 1-hour to participate in awards ceremony (note: you have 3 hours to complete the race and receive a time)

5K:

• Trophies to top 3 M/F, and Medals awarded in 5 year age groups.
• Traditional course run in the reverse direction in 2019
• All finishers will be timed, but must finish 5K course within 40 minutes to participate in awards ceremony (note: you have 3 hours to complete the race and receive a time.
