First Responder Battle of the Dodge - A Dodge-ball Tournament

Come out and throw it back to your grade school days with some good old fashioned dodge-ball by channeling your inner kid.  This is going to be an amazing event where First Responders and the community come together for some fun, food, music, and games. Families are encouraged to attend. This event will be raising money for the First Responders Children Foundation.  Check below for what they are all about and what they stand for.  Truly an awesome foundation.

This is a team event that will consist of 6-10 players.  Full rules will be sent to all participants. The registration fee is for the team fee of $200. After a team is created, all other members register at no cost.

FIRST RESPONDERS CHILDREN FOUNDATION

Our Mission
The First Responders Children’s Foundation supports children of first responders who have been lost or permanently disabled in the line of duty.  The Foundation provides emergency grants and college scholarships for those children, as well as special experiences to support the wellbeing of line of duty families after their tragedy.  We also facilitate educational activities and programs created and operated by first responder agencies and their affiliates to benefit the children in their communities.

The Foundation recognizes that the loss of a parent impacts a child for their lifetime.  We are committed to providing long-term support to ensure the needs of these children are met not only at the initial time of crisis, but into the future. For more info visit: www.firstresponderkids.org

RULES:

Teams will consist of 6-10 players.  6 play at a single time with the remaining players as reserve.  Starting 6 can switch every game.  This will be a double elimination tournament with every team guaranteed to play a minimum of 2 matches.  Each match will consist of 2-3 games. First team to win 2 games will win that match. Full game rules will be emailed to each team captain prior to the event date.

Team costumes are highly encouraged.  Prize will go to the most creative.
