RU-SNC Nursing Veteran Scholarship 5K Awareness Walk

Veterans are the backbone of our freedoms. When veterans return from their service we want to help them. Our goal is to support them with any extra needs they may have may it be courses, books, or tutoring. Join us and help us support our veterans' success!

Good evening to our Sponsors and Participants,

We are so excited to see you on Saturday! With the weather being as rainy as it has been we have decided to move the walk from 9am to 5pm on Saturday May 14th. Please dress for the weather just in case it is still raining! We will have light snacks and water available. Please arrive a little before to get you checked in so we can give you your T-Shirt and Dog Tag! If the rain is very strong, we will give you your merchandise and we will move this to be a virtual event (instructions to follow if this is the case). We are hoping to not do that. Please keep your fingers crossed for us to have manageable weather!!

We will be East of the Cooper River Boathouse at Cooper River Park in the bigger parking lot. It is about 0.1 miles away from the boathouse. There will be black and red balloons to signal you where we are so please look out for those!

Disclaimer: Due to the increase in signups past the initial deadline of April 9th we will not have enough T-Shirts for everyone, even with the extras, but we are putting in another order so we will be able to get those to you as soon as possible! But, everyone will get their Dog Tag guaranteed!
