This is the Fourth Annual Freedom Mortgage Team Freedom Cares 5K Run/Walk to benefit Homes for Our Troops and The Liberty USO. Freedom Mortgage is one of the nation’s largest VA mortgage lenders.  This event is rain or shine and all are welcome. 

Race day registration will be accepted by credit card only.  No checks or cash accepted on site. Shirts only guaranteed for advance registrants before Friday, May 24th. 

About Homes for our Troops:
Homes for Our Troops is building mortgage-free, specially adapted homes nationwide for severely injured Veterans post 9/11 to enable them to rebuild their lives. Since inception, the organization has built over 270 specially adapted homes nationwide.  Funding comes from individual donors, community fundraisers, corporations, foundations, and corporate sponsors.  

About the USO:
Since 1941, the United Service Organizations has stood by our troops through every step of their service. From deployment to rehabilitation and reintegration, they’re there for soldiers and their families. Because they are not a government agency, they rely on generous support from donors like you to fund programs and services that best fit the needs of our troops.

For Race Participants:
5K Run/Walk participants will receive a race day, dry-fit, t-shirt* 
1 Mile Fun Walk participants receive a small giveaway, while supplies last
Awards for top three overall male and female 5K Run/Walk finishers will be presented following the 1 Mile Fun Walk. You must be present to accept your award. 

Packet pick up on race day 8:30AM-9:30AM

* Shirt guaranteed if registered before May 24, 2019.  Late registrations and walk-ups to receive shirts based on availability.
