You can register in person on Saturday, 10.5 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Johnson Park. Cash or Check Only. $45.
Women Aware's Moving Beyond Abuse 5K Race & Charity Walk will take place (rain or shine) on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Johnson Park - Grove 4 (click link for directions) in Piscataway, NJ. This is a USATF-Certified 5K flat course. For those who wish to run/walk a shorter course or simply support Women Aware by attending, there is an optional one-mile Charity Walk. Registration covers either option. Teams are encouraged to sign-up to run/walk together. All event proceeds will benefit survivors and families moving beyond abuse through Women Aware.
Register in advance of race day (up to 11:59pm on 10.1) and save $10! Advance registration is $35. Registration on race day will be $45-Cash or Check ONLY. Free for children 11 and under.
First 100 registrants receive a Swag Bag with giveaways.
Goldenseal the Band will perform LIVE at the event!
Work Hard Fitness will provide a brief warm-up for runners!
Rebalance Massage Clinic is offering free pre and post-race massages!
Starting Point: Off River Road—parking and race entrance is Violet Drive.
Parking is on your right of park entrance. The start line is by kiosk/restrooms.
Park entrance and parking can be found by searching "Johnson Park Grove 4" on GPS.
NOTE: Dogs are welcome at the event, but will not be permitted on the 5K course for the safety of all participants.

8:30am: Bib pick-up & Race Day Registration (day-of registration is $45)
9:15am: Welcome
9:30am: Walkers Start
10:00am: Runners Start

About Women Aware
Women Aware is the state-designated lead domestic violence agency for Middlesex County, New Jersey. For over 43 years, we have been providing comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence and their children. All of our services are free, confidential, and available to any victim regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender or gender expression, religion, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, and marital, military, or immigration status.
Women Aware envisions a society where individuals can live free from violence and injustice.
