TWO WILDWOOD CREST EVENTS ON HIATUS FOR 2023

Crest Best Run Fest and Swim Fest to be put on hold

January 23, 2023, Wildwood Crest, NJ- The Borough of Wildwood Crest and local event production company DelMoSports, LLC, have mutually agreed to take a pause on two community events with which they have partnered since 2018. The Crest Best Run Fest and Crest Best Swim Fest will not be on the calendar of events in 2023.

“As we come out of the Covid 19 pandemic, both DelMoSports and the Borough of Wildwood Crest have had to refocus efforts to make sure everything we do is a success for the community,” said Don Cabrera, Mayor of Wildwood Crest. “With our Arts Pavilion being a major new initiative, and both groups having a full schedule of events on tap for 2023, Stephen Del Monte, our recreation staff and I mutually agreed to put these two events on the back burner for now. We’ve agreed to revisit for 2024.”

“We have really enjoyed getting these events up and running in my hometown” said Stephen Del Monte, CEO of DelMoSports, LLC. “Let’s see how 2023 goes and we’ll re-evaluate. In the meantime, we have plenty of swim, bike and run opportunities for our athletes in the region, so we encourage everyone to take advantage of those.”
