Description
The Trappers' Running Club is pleased to be partnering with the Canadian Forces at 5-Wing Goose Bay to host the first 'Race-the-Base' Canada Day Run on Monday July 1, 2013. This event includes 5km and 10km out-and-back distances plus a 1km children's event.
Registration (in USD) is $5 for Trappers' Running Club members, and $10 for non-members plus processing fee for online signup. No refunds.
Children's 1.95 km participants race for free and no registration is required. This is the first run for the Kids Marthon program!
The event is Bibtag-timed for online registrants. Registration is available in person on race-day, but is cash only and chip-timing is NOT available for these runners.
The start line is on 5-Wing Goose Bay Base, at the corner of J Street and Rivers Road (near Toboggan Hill). Runners should arrive by 9:30 to pickup race bibs for a 10am start time.
