Description
Run for Change 5k is the first annual 5k race hosted by Frontline Youth Leaders, with all proceeds being donated to Street Safe.
When is this going to be? April 13th (a Saturday)
How early do I need to wake up? Well, in order to respect all the people who despise early mornings with a passion, registration will begin at 10:30 am and the actual race will start at 11.
Where is this at? The starting location is going to be at Kit Carson Park, by the parking lot.
How much running uphill am I going to do? The trail is relatively flat, and it is a mix of both dirt and pavement.
Who are the Frontline Youth Leaders? The Frontline Youth Leaders are a group of passionate students that want to ignite change in the city.
What is Street Safe? Street Safe is a non-profit organization that helps sex-trafficking victims. Right now they are in the process of opening a drop-in center for women.
Why should I go?
Running is fun!
What if I don’t like to run?
Walking is also fun!
