Dye Out Drugs Color Fun Run 5 K

The SADD (students against destructive decisions) in Las Cruces, New Mexico are sponsoring a 5 K run to raise awareness, support, and money for their group to achieve school and community projects in the area.  As runners advance through the run, they will be splashed with color powder at several color stations and cheered on their way.  There will be a male and female winner in two age groups, 18 and under and 19 and over.  The run advances along the Rio Grande in a gorgeous setting to the south of the bridge at Picacho and the river, La Llorona Park.  The path is a soft, fine gravel. Runners and walkers of all ability levels are encouraged to come and enjoy the morning.  Registration online and at 8:30 AM.  Online registered runners should also pick up race packets at that time.  The race starts at 9:30 AM.  Free t-shirts for first 100 runners registered before Jan. 28.  We will try to get everyone a t shirt.    The registration is $15 for 18 and under and $25 for over 18.  On race day, it is  $20 for 18 and under and $30 for over 18.  A family of four can register for $60 contacting Kelly at 575.496.4030.    Pretty sure Mother Nature is going to help us out--looks sprinkly with low wind so fun times ahead!   Thanks for registering!!!!
