With Fundraiser for La Familia del Paso - May is Mental Health Awareness Month

 

RUN A MILE, GET THRISTY,  QUENCH IT WITH A COMPLIMENTARY DRINK*

The 1st ever Beer Mile in Las Cruces will take place on Sunday May 5th, 2020!!!
This is a one-mile (4 laps around the Idaho Crossing Center) fun run for runners who enjoy beers. Run for time or just for fun, then join us in celebration of Cinco de May
For those who do not wish, nor allowed to consume beer,  we will have a Non Alcoholic CHOCOLATE MILK MILE.
Then to make it fun for all, we are introducing to Las Cruces the 1st ever, Athena and Clydesdale divisions. These category serves a purpose similar to age and gender categories -- to allow competitors to compete with others who are at a similar running level. Selection and entrance into these divisions is 100% optional.  There will be NO weight in! Just participate for fun and awards
Races will begin at 8:30am with the Chocolate Milk Mile.  Each division may have multiply heats consisting of 20-30 runners. A final schedule of events will be posted on May 4th at packet pick up Noon til 4pm @ Blitz Sports Grill.  
* Chocolate Milk for participants 20years and under,  Adult beverage for those 21 and older.

HOW TO PROPERLY WEAR A BIB

All participants will be assigned a bib number.


For us to properly time your race, our staff and video camera (if available) needs to be able to read your bib number as you cross the finish line.
Race bibs must be worn on the outside of your clothing on the front of your jersey/shirt (as shown in the picture to the right).
Please do not, crimple or fold the bib.
If you do not wear the bib as requested, your finish may not be read properly, and no time will be recorded in the results.
You may keep your bib following the race. It does not need to be returned.
