Description
Join us again for the 2nd annual Race For Shade 5k Run/Walk. Our mission is to raise awareness of skin cancer and to educate the community in the prevention of this avoidable disease. Skin cancer can be incredibly deadly. In southern Nevada, where the sun shines all year long, education on how to stay sun safe is key to prevention. All the proceeds from the event will be donated to Outrun The Sun, Inc., a national skin cancer awarness and research program.
We will have lots of prizes and raffle giveaways for the participants.
Packet Pickup will be at REI in Green Valley Ranch The District on Friday March 15th from 5-7 pm.
