Description
The Downtown area command is putting together a fitness challenge in order to build morale, create a team atmosphere, and ultimately have a friendly competition. There is no specific mileage to reach, but the person/team with the most miles will receive a reward that is TBD. It is encouraged to participate as a squad. The following activities will be considered toward your total amount of miles:

ALL ACTIVITY:
• Running
• Walking (Distance)
• Walking (Steps) 2000 Steps = 1 Mile
• Hiking
• Treadmill
• Indoor Biking
• Outdoor Biking
• Rollerblades/Skates
• Skateboarding
• Elliptical
• MMA/Combat Sports (1 Hour = 800 Calories = 8 Miles)
• Swimming
• Indoor Rowing
• Outdoor Rowing
• Skiing/Snowboarding
• CrossFit (100 Calories = 1 Mile)
• Circuit Training (100 Calories = 1 Mile)
• Yoga (100 Calories = 1 Mile)
• Strength Training (100 Calories = 1 Mile)
• Dancing (100 Calories = 1 Mile)
TRACKING/RESULTS: You can use whatever app or device that works best for you (Garmin, MapMyRun, Strava, Apple, Fitbit, etc). Once the challenge begins, you'll be able to manually log your activities through your RunSignUp profile and your results will be uploaded to the official leaderboard. You may log miles daily or weekly.
