Description
May is Community Action Month, a time to celebrate our history, our impact and empower our neighbors toward action and involvement. The CAP Cayuga/Seneca Challenge: Empowering Families Through Movement is a virtual opportunity to bring us together to help lift up struggling families through community action. Run, walk, bike, swim or choose how and when you move and the mileage goal you want to complete over 15 days. Connect and track your progress on our race page and share with your fellow participants in our Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/480572226484516. In this inspiring virtual challenge, we’ll move miles to end poverty and elevate our mission: to cultivate a community where all people are respectfully supported and empowered to embrace opportunities for learning, growth and economic security.
1. Commit to one of the mileage goals - 30 or 56 miles in 15 days
2. Begin to log your miles on RunSignUp.com starting May 17 as you work toward your mileage goal
3. Uplift + Be Uplifted: share your stories of inspiration weekly through our social media channels by using #CAPCayuga/SenecaChallenge
