Bainbridge Glow Run VIRTUAL 60 Mile Challenge: "Glow For Amanda"

Support Bainbridge native, Amanda Decker, in her fight against cancer!

Welcome to the Bainbridge Glow Run 2021 Virtual 60 Mile Challenge Event for Amanda Decker!
This year's event is a "Virtual Edition" meaning you can do this 60 mile challenge anywhere in the world- from the General Clinton Park in Bainbridge to the Golden Gate Bridge in California!

Your challenge is to log 60 miles in 65 days of any of the following activities: Running, Walking, Hiking, or Rolling (wheelchair, wagon, etc.) in honor of Amanda Decker who is enduring her own challenges to overcome Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (Blood Cancer).

-About Amanda-

Amanda is a Bainbridge, NY, native and a graduate of the B-G Class of 2016.  Amanda loves reading the works of Stephen King as well as true crime.  She graduated from Cazenovia with a degree in Psychology in 2018.  Amanda hopes to continue her education this year at NYU Online for Mental Health Counseling.
Amanda is currently undergoing treatment for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer, but this is not the first health challenge Amanda will overcome.  This brave and courageous woman underwent a heart transplant at 11 months old as well as a kidney transplant in 2018.
Amanda has been getting chemotherapy for much of 2021 and faces more treatment in the coming months as she will be undergoing Car-T-Cell Therapy.  This is a long process that involves many trips to medical clinics and months long stays in New York City (many hours from Amanda's house).  Amanda is facing many unknowns in the months to come and the moral and financial support from the Bainbridge Glow Run Virtual 60 Mile Challenge is sure to brighten her spirit and lighten her load both financially and emotionally.  For more info on Car-T-Cell Therapy click here -> About CAR- T Cell Therapy

The Glow4Amanda Challenge: Log 60 Miles in 65 Days.  As this is a challenge you do not have to complete the 60 miles in order to participate or for your registration/donation to reach Amanda.  Every Registrant will receive a Glow Run T Shirt (glow in the dark) with a fresh design for Amanda's event and your donation will reach Amanda regardless of the milage you are able to accomplish.

You get to pace yourself over the next 65 Days.
For example:
Walk 1 mile/day... 60 days to complete the challenge

Run 5 miles/day... 12 days to complete the challenge
You get the idea, you can "GLOW For Amanda" at your own pace!
