COMPASS Unity Coalition 2nd Annual Red Ribbon Week 5k

This year COMPASS Unity Coalition will be hosting our second Annual Red Ribbon Week 5k Run/Walk/Wheelchair Race! This is an inclusive race and we invite those of all different abilities to participate! COMPASS Unity Coalition is the South Country School District community's alcohol and drug prevention coalition. We are the provider of drug and alcohol prevention by way of school and community coalition initiatives. The mission of COMPASS Unity is to reduce and prevent alcohol and other substance use and abuse among youth. Every year we celebrate the nation's largest drug abuse prevention campaign Red Ribbon Week from October 23rd to October 31st. This year we ask you to join us in our mission to help keep youth drug-free. Registration is free and in lieu of the fee we are asking that people donate in support of COMPASS Unity Youth Coalition Scholarship Fund. The COMPASS Unity Youth Coalition Scholarship is awarded to our senior students every year for their dedication and commitment to COMPASS Unity Youth Coalition, living a healthy lifestyle and care for their community! Please make checks payable to South Country Central School District. Please put in memo COMPASS Unity Youth Coalition Scholarship. Checks can be dropped off or mailed to Bellport High School: 205 Beaver Dam Rd, Brookhaven, NY, 11719 addressed to the attention of Lynette Murphy, Project Coordinator and BHS school social worker. This race is virtual so please feel free to run/walk/wheel at whatever time and wherever is convenient for you between the dates of October 23rd and the 31st! Please upload your time on the race website and if you would like to take a picture on your run please feel free to upload that as well!
