Raise $350 on behalf of a patient and race for free!

The Finger Lakes Triathlon is the primary annual fundraiser for the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center. Every year we run a program called “Train For Treatment” which enables athletes to raise money for the Center via a secure donation web page as they train for the triathlon. All of the money raised goes directly to the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center for critical patient services and treatments. Please visit www.hemocenter.org for more information on the Center.

Steps for on-line registration:

1) team captain registers as the first person on the team

• - select 3 person relay registration category
• - team captain creates the team name and pays the entire entry fee.

2) team members register for the race and join the team:

• - select relay registration category
• - select the team name from list of already registered teams 
• - complete the registration process with NO payment due

Please note: If team members do NOT select the pre-existing team they are joining, full price will be charged.

If for whatever reason you need to cancel your registration we offer 4 options:

 1 - You may purchase an insurance policy to cover your race fee in the event that you have to cancel.  This will be an option on the checkout page.  You will receive a separate invoice from Allianz Global, the provider if the insurance.

 2 – You may transfer your race to another person up to 2 weeks before race day (both parties must contact the race director to facilitate the change in the system).  You must arrange for the other person, the Finger Lakes Triathlon will not find another racer for you. 

3 -  Because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and 100% of the proceeds from this race go to charity we can convert your race fee to a tax-deductible donation to the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center and send you a confirmation letter for tax time.

4 -  If you agree to volunteer at the race, we will roll your registration over to next year.  Please note that this is not an automatic process, you need to contact the race director to cancel your registration and confirm your race roll over and volunteer position at least 10 days before the race.
