Description

Hello Oswegatchie Enthusiasts;

Oswegatchie is bringing back its virtual challenges. We love these events as its a way to make Oswegatchie a year-round experience!

We are bringing back our classic “Long Pond 100”,  meaning 100 laps around Long Pond. Each lap equals 3.5 miles. We have 2 options: a “Multisport”  version and a “Bike Only” version.   Multisport means walking, running, skiing, pedaling, or paddling. However, you can not do just one sport at a time. Some walking or running will be required to finish.

“Bike Only” is designed for those riding bikes. This is for those who want to specialize their mileage. If anyone is interested in another “specialized race” such as “Skis Only” or "Golf Only", we can set one up just for you.

We are working on the race website, but registration is available now. Anyone can sign up, but you should be able to start clocking mileage on October 1st, 2024.

When you Register, you get:

  1. Access to your online profile and race!
  2. Custom t-shirt shipped to you
  3. Free pancake breakfast at the AdironDUCK Race on April 27th. 2025.
  4. Free entry into the “2025 AdironDuck Trail Run on April 27th, 2025.
  5. Access to the Oswegatchie Virtual Race Group on Facebook.
  6. The camaraderie of virtual friends all over the globe.

Registration for this event will remain open till May 30th., but no t-shirts will be rewarded.

Register at any time and start clocking miles on October 1st! You will have till December 31st, 2025 to complete your miles!

What is the Oswegatchie Educational Center

What is this Oswegatchie?  In 1946, the New York FFA Association combined all of its resources to purchase 1200 acres of Adirondack forest and started a summer camp for teenagers. Their primary goal was to give youth a place away from home for them to recreate who they are and to learn what it takes to meet new people in a new place.  At Oswegatchie, we believe that every summer should be unforgettable. So ask yourself: "Have you ever ridden a 350' zipline through an Adirondack forest?" How about kayaked or canoed on four pristine ponds? Have you ever ridden a horse on Adirondack Trails? Mountain biked down rugged paths? Have you made friends from all over New York and the United States?
