13 Moon Challenge

The 13 Moon Challenge ran from September 2022 to September 2023. Participants completed a full moon run, walk or cycle between moonrise and moonset on all 13 full moons (as determined by the cell phone app “The Moon” by gv-apps). Participants could either participate in the organized group run or complete their run, walk or cycle solo or in their own groups. Each participant claiming completion is asked to provide evidence through a fitness app or dated photograph. As this event was to encourage attendance as the Full Moon Group Run, successful completion requires at least attendance at the group run. Anyone completing this challenge will let you know this is not as easy as it sounds; the moon rises on a given day and time regardless of your work and family schedule. Congrats to all who completed!
