LBBD Kili Climb - Virtual run/walk 2 week Challenge!

Join Debbie as she climbs Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa - this AUG! 

During this year, many of us have stepped, ran, even rode bikes to help share with others stories of hope, support, determination and loss, all from cancer.   

While we know we can't stop cancer tomorrow, we can honor those have fought the battle AND supported thieir loved ones as they have battled.   

Our goal, let's try to get everyone aware of testing and awareness to get the peace of mind for their health or diagnose cancer in a early or treatable stage. 

When I was diagnosed with my OSTEOSCARCOMA, bone cancer, it was not until my post surgery I learned it was stage 1/2.   My Doc was able to provide a treatment and rehad to give me a chance at a post cancer life of my choice. 

He said to me: 

Debbie - I have given you the abiity to run 3, maybe 4 miles.   The rest is up to you.   I took care of your cancer treatment, your post cancer life is up to you!   

Next week I climb Kilimanjaro and am running 2021 miles this year for YOU!   

Let's inspired others to get screened, and have a peace of mind in their health, or a successful treatment!    

Choose your own starting line, your own event and log your distance over a 2 week period in support of the the Live Bold Be Different cause!

All funds raised will be donated to the AMERICAN CANCER society.    During the event we invite you to share stories of you and your families journeys that have been impacted by cancer.    Survivors, conquerors, loved ones we have lost.   Let's share their stories and help other get to know them! 

AND the most impactful part - share a past screening or when you next screening is. 

Let's normalize screening - let's make it not such a 'special test'

During your registration you will be asked who you are running for or dedicating to.   

Please be sure to complete that information as EVERYONE that joins the Live Bold Be Different Spring event will receive a certificate award stating who you dedicating this this challenge to.    

All distances count - whatever challenges you and brings you joy! Recruit your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers to choose a challenge and come together safely to make it fun. Or do your own thing and still have fun! Submit your results and we'll ALL come together virtually to raise awareness and log some miles LBBD!   

All participants will be entered to win an AMERICAN CANCER SOCITEY gear

and a gift of my choosing from AFRICA - I'll bring it home with me.
