Description
Un-timed 5k Run/Walk* & 1 mile fun run/walk in memory of Heather Frazer Boyum, mother, wife, teacher, friend & triathlete. Proceeds to the Heather Boyum Memorial Children's Education Fund.
Run will take place on October 14th, Heather's Birthday at the Fairport High School. Please join Heather's family, friends, colleagues and fellow members of Rochester Moms In Motion for a brief ceremony and a casual, un-timed, minimally supported event. This is an inaugural event. It is our hope to hold a timed, certified 5k event with more runner support in 2013.
*note course length is not certified and may or may not be exactly 5k.
T-Shirts
A limited number of cotton shirts (green with HFB Iron Angel Logo and the Heather Boyum quote "I'm amazed how fast time flies...It reminds me that every minute of life is a treasure!" on the back) will be available for purchase at the event for $15.00.
T-shirts may be pre-ordered until 9/30/12 for pick-up at the run. Use the "store" button on this registration site to order. Sizes include adult, youth & toddler.
