Description
On Sunday, September 1, Chautauqua Striders will host the 2024 Daniel Feather Memorial 5K Race and Walk. The event raises money to support youth programming and a scholarship named after our later co-founder. Daniel Feather co-founded the Chautauqua Striders in 1979, and served as a volunteer coach for several years. Money raised through this event will also go toward ensuring our athletic programs are affordable for all kids. Since 1979 Chautauqua Striders has been helping young people realize and achieve their fullest potential on the track and in school. The Daniel Feather Memorial 5K is a part of our 2024 Runner of the Year Series, sponsored by KeyBank
Check-in and day of registration will start at 8:15 AM the day of the race. There is a 5K run division, a 5k walk division, and a separate division for Jamestown police officers. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our athletic director at Lexi@chqstriders.org.
Graduating High School Seniors (Class of 2025) are eligible for the Daniel Feather Memorial Scholarship. Click the link below to submit your application.
