Description

The Woven Wellness Committee is hosting a virtual run/walk fundraising event to challenge you to get your heart rate up, and run/walk 30 Miles in 30 Days! All fundraising proceeds will be donated to Heart to Heart International. Heart to Heart International improves healthcare access in the US and around the world by distributing resources, conducting training, engaging volunteers and responding to disasters. The organization has provided humanitarian service in more than 130 countries, has shipped over $3 billion in aid and has logged over 1.1 million volunteer hours!

The goal of this fundraising event is to run/walk a total of 30 miles in 30 days. The intent of the 30 mile goal is to give yourself a personal challenge and motivation to get up, get out, and get moving! The event will begin on 9/1 and end on 9/30. We encourage you to share your personal fundraising page with your friends and family, who can help motivate you with donations! At the end of the event, all fundraising proceeds will be donated to Heart to Heart International on behalf of Woven. Woven will be adding on an additional $500 donation to all donations received!

PRIZES! RAFFLES!

To make this challenge a little more competitive, the Woven Wellness Committee will be offering prizes to recognize both fundraising efforts and physical activity! The individual who fundraises the highest amount will win an Apple Watch, and the second highest fundraiser will receive a pair of Apple AirPods.

In addition, each participant will earn one raffle ticket for every $50 raised—for example, raising $200 earns you four entries. Raffle prizes include a Bluetooth water bottle, a yoga mat, and a Nutribullet blender.

And for those really hitting the pavement: the individual who logs the most miles during the challenge will also win a prize—so every step counts!
