PS 165 2nd Annual Spring Fun Run 2022

You are invited to participate in PS 165's 2nd Annual Spring Fun Run!  This event and fundraising efforts will help fund programs, activities, staff, supplies, and technology for our school community.

Throughout the months of April and May, you can run or walk your distance of choice anywhere, any place on your own time: 1 mile, 5K (3.1 miles), or 10K (6.2 miles). So grab your friends and family and run together!   ***Join us SATURDAY, MAY 7th for an in-person 1 mile run/walk at 3:00pm*** The PTA will be there from 2:30 - 4:00 pm in Morningside Park.... BBQ Area #5 at 120th Street and Morningside Ave entrance.   Bring a blanket to hang out at the finish afterwards. We will have a fun Wellness Activity, Medals and Snacks for all that sign up! 

The sign up fee is $20 for adults;  kids 10 and under are FREE, 11 to 17 $5 - just click on the special pricing button at registration!   

Race T-shirts are also available for purchase! Be sure to buy early!! T-Shirt orders will close on April 25th! 

Pricing is: Adult: S-XL $17, 2XL-4XL $18, Youth: S-XL $15.

*Please note that all runners should protect their health and safety and that of others and are welcome to wear masks and practicing social distancing. 

Virtual Event Information:

1. Between April 12th and May 7th -Log on to our race page and sign up for a race (T-shirt orders are available until April 25th).

2. Run or Walk your distance. You can do this over various days

3. Take photos or videos at the start, along the way, and at the finish. Use # PS165Run2022 in your social posts.

4. When you have completed the distance that you signed up for, upload your race times and share photos here  

5. Share photos on our private PS165 Robert E Simon Facebook group!
