Picturesque waterfalls, historic abandoned mills, and well-groomed trails following the Minnesetah River in Penn Yan, NY make the Keuka Outlet Trail Half Marathon & 10K a must-do for 2020!
There are two ways to register for this inaugural event: Run with us in person on Sunday, September 27th or run the real course on your own time anytime between June 27th – September 27th with the Virtu“REAL” registration option.
Registration is very limited and is expected to sell out. Get your registrations in early!
The Keuka Outlet Trail Half Marathon & 10K follow the Minnesetah River, which flows from Keuka Lake to Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. The wooded trail is well maintained by the Friends of the Outlet, Inc and features a combination of pavement, gravel and grass.
The out-and-back courses of both the Half Marathon and the 10K pass waterfalls and abandoned mill sites leftover from the outlet’s industrial past. Runners start on a slight downgrade, and return with a slight uphill grade. Both courses begin in Penn Yan and head East toward Dresden, NY before turning around and finishing back in Penn Yan.

You don’t need to show up on the 27th to experience the Keuka Outlet Trail Half Marathon & 10K. When you register for either the Half Marathon or the 10K with the Virtu“REAL” option, you’re signing up to run the REAL course and the REAL experience, but on your own time.
How it Works
After registration, look for emails with additional information about how to get your custom swag, finisher award, and how to officially submit your time into the results!
*custom pint glass is for half marathon runners, only
"The rich history of the Finger Lakes is incomplete without the trail and what it has meant to the region."
The Friends of the Outlet maintain the trail and have preserved the history of the trail, dating back to 1790 when the first flour mill was built by the Society of Universal Friends. Remnants from the original mill can still be seen today!
