11th Annual Kyle's Running for a Memory

Kyle Coggins passed away in May of 2003. Kyle’s family decided to start a fund in honor of Kyle. They chose the word benevolent because it truly described Kyle. His goodwill, kindness and giving spirit were present in his everyday life, and his family would like his spirit to continue after his death. The fund, which began as a way to keep Kyle’s benevolence alive, has become a source of emotional and financial help for others for whom Kyle cared deeply.

The Charities

All proceeds from the race will benefit:

C.U.R.E. – Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy. A research project has been started in Kyle’s name.

Camp Stella Maris Campership Fund – This fund is in place to help less fortunate children pay for a week of camp.

Timing

All registered runners will receive an electronic chip timing device. Chips will not be given to walkers.

Parking

Parking will be available in the two side parking lots of Barker Road Middle School. No parking will be available in the front loop due to the location of the finish. If needed, additional parking will be available at the Church of Transfiguration.

$20 if postmarked by March 21st,

$25 if registering after March 21st.

Kyle’s Benevolent Fund. ** We highly recommend that you waive your race fee by

collecting $50.00 in pledges.** In the past racers have raised as much as $500.00 by themselves for the race!

Race Packet Pick Up

To avoid race day chaos, early race packet pick up will be available at Fleet Feet Sports of Rochester, 155 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14620 on the following days:

Thursday, March 20th, from 10am to 7pm

F riday, March 21st from 10am to 7pm.

** You may register at Fleet Feet Sports at any time. Last minute registration is available through Friday, March 21st at 7pm.

Race Day

The 11th Annual Kyle’s Running for a Memory will be held Saturday, March 22nd at Barker Road Middle School, 75 Barker Road, Pittsford, NY 14534.

7:30 Registration Opens

8:45 Registration Closes

9:00 Race will begin promptly outside Barker Road Middle School

10:15 Awards Ceremony held in the cafeteria.
