Moriah Labor Day Dash 5K

Join us in the Hamlet of Port Henry in the lovely, historic coastal Town of Moriah on Lake Champlain for our wonderful Labor Day Dash 5K.

This Fun Run will consist of a beautiful 3.1 mile race beginning at Moriah Central School and ending at the waterfront at The Bridgeview Harbor Marina. It is important to note that parking and Registration will be held at the Bridgeview Harbour Marina at 36 Harbour Lane in Port Henry. A bus will transport runners to the starting point at 12:00pm. Please park and be ready no later than 11:45. Restrooms will be available at the school. There will be no transportation back to the school after the race.

The course will begin with one loop around our new school track then down Broad Street with a right turn onto Route 9N. You will then take a right into a residential area through Jackson Street, Bridge Street, and left onto Whitney Street where you will then cross to the home stretch and finish at the waterfront. 

You can run or walk this course for a fun, healthy way to keep your body moving during the many activities that take place during this long standing weekend celebration.

Other events over the weekend include the  Annual Port Henry Regatta at Port Henry Marina, Labor Day Parade,  M3 Music Festival, the Marketplace on Church Street with live music,  fireworks from Port Henry Pier and the Boat Parade of lights.

Awards for Male/Female top finisher plus first place for each age groups.
