Training for a 5K or 10K is as much about the people beside you as it is the miles behind you. We're here to help you with a smart training plan and a supportive group that's with you every step of the way!

Our 10-week 5K/10K training programs, which offer specialized tracks for both distances and are ideal for every level of experience, will help you scale up your distance with smart, steady progression. Our 5K program includes a run/walk training option, making it truly a beginner-friendly plan. 

The groups will begin training the week of March 30 in preparation for The Big Run taking place on Wednesday, 6/3, at Gold's Gym LaGrange. With our programs, you'll have the coaching, the plan, and the people to get you to the finish line!

Please note: Registration for The Big Run is a separate fee. As a thank-you for joining our training program, you'll receive a $5 discount code to use toward your race registration! This code will be included in the email you receive right after registering for the training group. For more details about The Big Run, click here.

TRAINING GROUPS OPEN HOUSE: Have questions you'd like to ask in person? No problem! Come meet some of the coaches at our training group open house on Sunday, 3/8, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. They'll be posted up at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie, ready to tell all!

Where Good Habits Begin

The #1 benefit people love about our training programs, developed in collaboration with Feldman Physical Therapy, is the weekly meet ups with coaches, mentors, and other participants for added support, accountability, and camaraderie. The groups will meet twice a week: on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie and Saturday mornings at 8:00 a.m. at the Morgan Lake Dutchess Rail Trail entrance. The programs also include a lot of great perks, such as:
