The 13th annual Tipperary Hill Shamrock Run drew almost 3,000 runners and many spectators to its four-mile course through historic Tipp Hill. 2020should be even bigger! Race participants and spectators are encouraged to bring canned foods, boxed foods or donations for the Food Bank of CNY's St. Patrick Hunger Project.
You may pick up your race packet and your gear at any of the following times:

Parking for hundreds of cars will be available in Burnet Park near the softball fields and the golf course. Attendants will be directing drivers. Enter from Avery Avenue at Whittier Avenue (open until about 10:30). Parking is also available at the Zoo's upper lots and Arc of Onondaga lots, both accessible from Wilbur Ave. If parking on neighborhood streets, please observe posted alternate-side parking rules, and please do not park along the race route. It is always recommended to carpool if possible, and to arrive early (by 10am or so).
Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall finishers male and female, and the top male and female finisher from various age groups.
The USA Track & Field-certified course showcases the historic Tipperary Hill neighborhood of Syracuse, NY, bringing runners past many of Tipp Hill's favorite landmarks, including the world famous "Green-On-Top" traffic light, scenic parks, architecturally striking churches, and of course, our popular Pubs.
The current 4-mile course was designed by the Neighborhood Association Race Committee with input from runners. We will be using the bib-chip system by Leone Timing during our 4 mile run. If you're planning to run the Mountain Goat, our hills will provide the perfect training run. It's also a fun and healthful way to kick off your St. Patricks Day celebration. Join us on an exhilarating run through historic Tipperary Hill!
For the safey of runners, no strollers or dogs are allowed on the course.
