Description
Thank you for your interest in the 13th Annual Hudson Valley Walk / Run for PKD!
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! You can still register in-person on Sunday, 9/18. We look forward to seeing you!
This is our 13th year hosting a Walk for PKD, and our second year hosting a Walk / Run for PKD in Rockland County. Since the Rockland Lake State Park has a 5K trail, we decided to open it up to Walkers & Runners
The Hudson Valley Walk for PKD is a family friendly event for adults and children, with a DJ, a presentation & awards reception, and a light lunch after all the participants have returned. It's not just about walking or running - it's about getting together as a team, meeting new people, and supporting each other in the fight to END PKD!
On Walk day, kids can participate in the Penny Kids Dash – a short, fun run included as part of the day’s events. Participation in the Penny Kids Dash is open to all registered children 12 and under. The Penny's Kids Dash is a great way for kids to feel more involved on the Walk / Run Day. Many kids have also used the Penny Kids Dash as a fun way to raise funds for the PKD Foundation, with activities such as collecting pennies and other coins, a lemonade stand, car wash, or doing chores for donations.
The registration instructions are below; however please reach out to us if you have any questions or need any additional information.
We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the Walk / Run for PKD on September 18!
Sincerely,
Darien & Josephine DaCosta
