Join RRCA Certified Running Coach and NASM Certified Personal Trainer Gail Cirlin-Lazerus of Personal Best Race Training to train for The South Nyack 10-Miler! The training program will start on Monday, August 2 and will run for 6 weeks. There will be weekly training plans emailed to you each week and a weekly in-person training group on Wednesday nights at Rockland Lake. The training program will cover 6 weeks, and get you ready for the scenic, challenging, great SN10 miler. Whether you are new to running or have run the race before and want your PR, Gail will prepare you for this race. Not only will Coach Gail train you with her plan and in-person training, but she will be available for questions, support and encouragement along the way.
This program is free to Rockland Road Runner members. If you are not a RRR member, you can still participate but need to join as a member. You will be prompted to become an RRR member when you register for this program. Please no children are allowed unless they are a registered participant.
The Wednesday training group will start promptly at 6:00pm. If you can arrive slightly before for your warm-up, that would be great. The group will meet at the toll booth on the outer loop of Rockland Lake adjacent (not the actual parking lot booth) to Parking lot 4 (the main entrance by the South/Valley Cottage entrance).
