Description
Come be part of the first annual Kopernik Race to the Stars 5K road race. Start and finish at Kopernik Observatory & Science Center. You will turn left on Underwood from Kopernik’s parking lot, travel along Underwood Road, turn right on Ridge Road for a brief distance and return to Kopernik. The race will be an USATF certified 5K race.
Schedule:
4:30 PM Registration Opens
5: 30 PM Race Starts
7 PM Awards Ceremony and after party
There will be children’s activities (5-7 PM) and music with a DJ (5-9 PM). If clear, the telescopes will open (around 6:30 PM) for viewing of Jupiter, Saturn, Mars & the moon.

COST: $20 per person if registered by 8/20/18 – includes T-shirt and a goody bag
$25 per person after 8/20/18 – includes T-shirt and a goody bag
